Act 45 of 1999, providing for a uniform statewide building code, requires the Dept. of L&I to promulgate regulations. Because this measure in effect repealed the Dry Cleaning Law, Elevator Law and Fire & Panic Act, the regulations pursuant to each (including those for Personal Care Homes), will be addressed through regulations for Act 45.
