Committee Designation under Regulatory Review Act--House of Representatives

   Under the provisions of Act No. 181 of 1982, as amended, the Regulatory Review Act, the Speaker of the House is required to prescribe the jurisdiction of each standing committee of the House over the various State agencies for the purpose of reviewing proposed regulations.

   I have, therefore, submitted the designated House committee to which regulations which you may propose during the 2001-2002 Legislative Sessions should be submitted.

   * Any department, departmental administrative board or commission, independent board, commission, or authority not contained in this list is assigned to the same designated standing committee as is their parent agency.
