NOTICES

Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before February 26, 2001, as set forth at 52 Pa.  Code § 3.381 (relating to the applications for the transportation of property and persons). The protests shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.

   Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00098496, Folder 1, Am-B Greater Johnstown Yellow Cab, Inc. (1301 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, Cambria County, PA 15902), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--temporary authority--persons upon call or demand in the areas of the counties of Cambria and Somerset as outlined: Beginning at Route 422 at the Cambria County line, thence east via Route 422 to the borough of Cresson, Cambria County, where Route 422 intersects with Route 53, thence southwestwardly via Route 53 to its intersection with Route 160 in the borough of Wilmore, Cambria County, thence southwardly via Route 160 to its intersection with Route 31 in the borough of Roxbury, Somerset County, thence westwardly via Route 31 to the borough of Somerset, thence southwardly via Route 281 to its intersection with Route 653 to the borough of New Lexington, Somerset County, thence westwardly to the Somerset County line, thence northwardly along the Somerset and Cambria County lines to the point of beginning, at Route 422 in Cambria County. Application for permanent authority appeared in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, Volume 30, No. 32, August 5, 2000.

   Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00117469 BMT Coach, Inc. (P. O. Box 1166, Lansdowne, Delaware County, PA 19050), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--persons in limousine service, between points in the counties of Montgomery and Philadelphia; which is to be a transfer of the rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00109409 to Jimmy's Transport, Ltd., subject to the same limitations and conditions.    Applications of the following for approval amendment of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00104709, Folder 1, Am-B Unique Limousine Service, Inc. (P. O. Box 60402, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania 17106), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, inter alia--transfer--persons in limousine service, between points in the counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Luzerne, Mifflin, Monroe, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Union and York; subject to the following conditions: (1) provided that all service authorized herein shall be restricted to the transportation in luxury van-type vehicles, not exceeding 10 passengers in capacity, excluding the driver, and (2) that no right, power or privilege is granted to originate service from points in the counties of Luzerne, Monroe and Schuylkill: So as to permit the transportation of persons, in limousine service, between points in the counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York, and from points in said counties, to other points in Pennsylvania, and return; which is to be a transfer of the rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00111875 to James J. Salinger, subject to the same limitations and conditions.
