NOTICES

State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Systems Operators; 2004 Examination Announcement

   The State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Systems Operators (Board) and the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) have scheduled examinations for both water and wastewater operator certification on March 20, 2004.

   Applications must be received, not postmarked, by the close of business on January 5, 2004. Applications received after this date will not be considered for the March 20, 2004, examination. Applications that do not contain all the necessary required information will be returned and not considered eligible for the March 20, 2004, examination. This is the only certification examination scheduled for 2004.

   The examination is offered at seven sites throughout this Commonwealth on March 20, 2004. Applicants for examination choose a test site on the application form. Applicants who choose to take both water and wastewater operator certification examinations on the same date must be examined at the Harrisburg site.

   To receive an application/information package, contact the Department of Environmental Protection, Certification and Licensing Section, P. O.
