Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes
[35 Pa.B. 1726] The Department of Transportation (Department), under section 2003(e)(7) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 513(e)(7)), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The parcel consists of 0.3814 acre, trapezoid in shape, located north of East Second Street and south of Norfolk Southern rail bed in Bethlehem, Northampton County. The parcel is located beneath the Fahy Street Bridge SR 3011. The purchaser will be required to concurrently grant an aerial easement to the Commonwealth for the subject area. Interested public agencies are invited to express their interest in purchasing the parcel within 30 calendar days from this notice.
