Joint Meeting of Air Quality Technical Advisory Committee (AQTAC), Citizens Advisory Council and Mercury Rule Workgroup and Rescheduled AQTAC Meeting

   The AQTAC meeting scheduled for August 31, 2006, has been changed to a joint meeting of AQTAC, the Citizens Advisory Council and the Mercury Rule Workgroup. The August 31, 2006, meeting will be held at 9 a.m. in Room 105, Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, Harrisburg. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a preliminary summary of public comments regarding the Environmental Quality Board's proposed mercury rulemaking and draft concepts for the final mercury rulemaking. No formal action will be taken at the August 31, 2006, meeting.

   An AQTAC meeting to take formal action on the draft final mercury rulemaking, along with other agenda topics, will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006, at 9 a.m. in the Susquehanna Conference Room, Department of Environmental Protection's (Department) Southcentral Regional Office, 909 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA.

   An agenda and meeting materials for both meetings will be available on the Department of Environmental Protection's (Department) website at www.depweb. state.pa.us prior to the meetings. If there are any further questions, contact Terry Black at (717) 787-2030 or tblack@state.pa.us.
