Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company; Private Passenger Automobile Rate and Rule Revisions; Rate Filing

[Saturday, August 11, 2007]On July 25, 2007, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.
The company requests an overall 5.1% increase amounting to $9.472 million annually, to be effective November 19, 2007, for new business and December 20, 2007, for renewal business.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to September 23, 2007, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
A copy of the filing is available on the Department's website at www.ins.state.pa.us. Under the Quick Links section, click on the link ''Rate Filings Published in the PA Bulletin.''
A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg office.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Michael P.
