Dog Law Proposed Regulations; Extended Public Comment Period

[Saturday, February 10, 2007]The Department of Agriculture (Department) published a notice of proposed rulemaking regarding proposed amendments to the Dog Law regulations at 36 Pa.B. 7596 (December 16, 2006). The public comment period established in the proposed rulemaking was 60 days. Therefore, the close of the public comment period for the proposed rulemaking would be February 14, 2007. However, under this notice the Department extends the original deadline by 30 days. The public comment period for this proposed rulemaking will therefore expire on March 16, 2007.
