First Priority Health--BlueCare HMO; Base Rate Filing; Rate Filing

[Saturday, February 23, 2008]By filing No. H-1386-FPH-Base Rate, First Priority Health HMO requests approval to increase the base group rates by an average of 7.6%, depending on the selected plan design. This filing will affect approximately 66,132 members and will produce additional income of about $14.5 million. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2008.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to May 8, 2008, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

Copies of the filing are also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg office.
