Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler Instant Lottery Game

[Saturday, August 28, 2010]Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:
1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler.
2. Price: The price of a Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game ticket is $1.
3. Play Symbols: Each Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area. The play symbols and their captions located in the play area are: Banana (BAN) symbol, Bar (BAR) symbol, Bell (BEL) symbol, Crown (CRN) symbol, Grapes (GRPS) symbol, Mellon (MEL) symbol, Moneybag (MBAG) symbol, Peach (PCH) symbol, Pineapple (PNA) symbol, Horseshoe (SHO) symbol, Strawberry (STRA) symbol, Sun (SUN) symbol, 7 (SVN) symbol, Diamond (DIAMOND) and a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) symbol.
4. Prize Symbols: The prize symbols and their captions located in the play area are: Free (TICKET), $1.00 (ONE DOL), $2.00 (TWO DOL), $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $20.00 (TWENTY), $40.00 (FORTY), $50.00 (FIFTY), $100 (ONE HUN), $500 (FIV HUN) and $1,000 (ONE THO).
5. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: Free $1 Ticket, $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $40, $50, $100, $500 and $1,000. A player can win up to 5 times on a ticket.
6. Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 12,000,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game.
7. Determination of Prize Winners:
(a) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $1,000 (ONE THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.
(b) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.
(c) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.
(d) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $200.
(e) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(f) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.
(g) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $40.00 (FORTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $40.
(h) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $40.
(i) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.
(j) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.
(k) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(l) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(m) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(n) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $2.00 (TWO DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.
(o) Holders of tickets with a Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $1.00 (ONE DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Double Diamond (DBL DMND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.
(p) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of $1.00 (ONE DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1.
(q) Holders of tickets with a Diamond (DIAMOND) play symbol in the play area, and a prize symbol of FREE (TICKET) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of one Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant game ticket or one Pennsylvania Lottery instant game ticket of equivalent sale price which is currently on sale.
8. Number and Description of Prizes and Approximate Odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes and approximate odds of winning:

Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
9. Retailer Incentive Awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Game for retailers who sell Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game tickets. The conduct of the game will be governed by 61 Pa. Code § 819.222 (relating to retailer bonuses and incentive).
10. Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler, prize money from winning Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.
11. Governing Law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.
12. Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania Diamond Doubler or through normal communications methods.
