Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler Instant Lottery Game

[Saturday, February 19, 2011]Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:
1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler.
2. Price: The price of a Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game ticket is $1.
3. Prize Play Symbols: Each Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area. The prize play symbols and their captions located in the play area are: FREE (TICKET), $1.00 (ONE DOL), $2.00 (TWO DOL), $3.00 (THR DOL), $5.00 (FIV DOL), $6.00 (SIX DOL), $9.00 (NIN DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $15.00 (FIFTN), $20.00 (TWENTY), $30.00 (THIRTY), $60.00 (SIXTY), $90.00 (NINTY), $3,333 (THTHOTRYT), 3X (TRIPLE) symbol and a 3 (WIN333) symbol.
4. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: Free $1 Ticket, $1, $2, $3, $5, $6, $9, $10, $15, $20, $30, $60, $90, $333 and $3,333.
5. Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 7,920,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game.
6. Determination of Prize Winners:
(a) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3,333 (THTHOTRYT) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3,333.
(b) Holders of tickets with a prize play symbol of a 3 (WIN333) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $333.
(c) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $90.00 (NINTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $90.
(d) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $30.00 (THIRTY) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $90.
(e) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $60.00 (SIXTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $60.
(f) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $20.00 (TWENTY) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $60.
(g) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $30.00 (THIRTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.
(h) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.
(i) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $20.00 (TWENTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.
(j) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $15.00 (FIFTN) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(k) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.
(l) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(m) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $9.00 (NIN DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $9.
(n) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $3.00 (THR DOL) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $9.
(o) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $6.00 (SIX DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $6.
(p) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $2.00 (TWO DOL) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $6.
(q) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(r) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3.00 (THR DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.
(s) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) and a 3X (TRIPLE) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.
(t) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $2.00 (TWO DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.
(u) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1.
(v) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of FREE (TICKET) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of one Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant game ticket or one Pennsylvania Lottery instant game ticket of equivalent sale price which is currently on sale.
7. Number and Description of Prizes and Approximate Odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes, and approximate odds of winning:

Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
8. Retailer Incentive Awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Game for retailers who sell Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game tickets. The conduct of the game will be governed by 61 Pa. Code § 819.222 (relating to retailer bonuses and incentive).
9. Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler, prize money from winning Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.
10. Governing Law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.
11. Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania Match 3 Tripler or through normal communications methods.
