Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

[Saturday, January 14, 2012]The Department of Transportation (Department), under section 2003(e)(7) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 513(e)(7)), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following property is available for sale by the Department.
Parcel No. 8A—Venango County
This parcel contains approximately 2.37 acres of land situated off of SR 322, just south of the SR 322 and SR 257 interchange, in Cranberry Township, Venango County. The property will be sold in ''as is condition.'' The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $4,200. It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.
Interested public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing the site within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to William G. Petit, District Engineer, Department of Transportation, Engineering District 1-0, 255 Elm Street, P. O. Box 398, Oil City, PA 16301.
