Keystone Health Plan Central; HMO Conversion Rate Filing

[Saturday, December 15, 2012]Keystone Health Plan Central requests approval to increase the rate for the HMO Conversion Plans. The average requested rate increase is 9.9%. The proposed rate increases would affect approximately 149 policyholders and would produce additional income of about $112,000 annually. The requested effective date of the change is February 1, 2013.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to February 28, 2013, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
A copy of the filing is available on the Insurance Department's (Department) web site at www.insurance. pa.gov. To access the filing, under ''How to Find. . . . .'' click on ''PA Bulletin.''
A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg office.
