Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, September 7, 2013]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by September 23, 2013. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2013-2365114. Excellent Taxi Service, LLC (75 North Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, PA 18237) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons upon call or demand in the Borough of McAdoo and within a 15-mile radius of the borough's limits.
A-2013-2369268. Rapid Transit, Inc. (13659 Philmont Avenue, Apt. 10, Philadelphia, PA 19116) in paratransit service, limited to mobility impaired and special needs clients, between points in the Counties of Bucks and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia.
A-2013-2377578. On Call Care, LLC (6713 Conway Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111) for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons requiring lift type vehicles in paratransit service, from the Counties of Cumberland and Dauphin to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2013-2378802. First Class Transportation, Inc. (2101 Market Street, #3105, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19103) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, between points in the County of Philadelphia and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under the application.
A-2013-2377412. Caring Van, LLC (210 Jennifer Court, Levittown, PA 19057) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, which is to be a transfer of all the rights authorized under the Certificate of Public Convenience issued at A-6413964 on April 11, 2012, to PJ's Transportation, LLC.
Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.
A-2013-2348819. Green's Taxi, Inc. (8200 Noblestown Road, McDonald PA 15057)—a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania—for amendment to its common carrier certificate, which grants the right, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service: (1) between points in the County of Washington, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; and (2) from points in the County of Allegheny, to other points in Pennsylvania, and return: So as to Permit the transportation of persons in paratransit service, between points in the County of Allegheny.
