[Saturday, November 22, 2014]On September 23, 2014, Kathryn Nora Mauro, LPN, license no. PN274666, last known of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, had her license to practice practical nursing indefinitely suspended for at least 2 years and then until her criminal probation ends, including the payment of restitution, costs and fees, under Doc. Nos. CP-51-CR-1775-2012 and CP-09-CR-2558-2012, she pays a $500 civil penalty and completes 8 hours of ethics continuing education, for denying that she committed any misdemeanors on her application for licensure.
Individuals may obtain a copy of the adjudication by writing to Judith Pachter Schulder, Board Counsel, State Board of Nursing, P. O. Box 2649, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2649.
This order represents the final State Board of Nursing (Board) decision in this matter. It may be appealed to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania by the filing of a petition for review with that court in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure. Individuals who take an appeal to the Commonwealth Court must serve the Board with a copy of their petition for review. The Board contact for receiving service of appeals is the previously-named Board counsel.
