Citizen Fair Housing Focus Group Meeting

 The Department of Community and Economic Development (Department) is preparing an update to its Analysis to Impediments to Fair Housing. As part of this process the Department will be conducting a Citizen Fair Housing Focus Group (Focus Group) meeting on January 13, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Harrisburg Area Community College Midtown 2, Room 202, 1500 North 3rd Street (3rd and Reilly Streets), Harrisburg, PA 17102.

 The Focus Group will discuss what is fair housing, what impediments to fair housing are in place throughout this Commonwealth and what actions does the Commonwealth need to address to eradicate these impediments through the use of their Federal funds. Citizen input is encouraged.

 The Department must limit the number of those who wish to participate in this Focus Group, so participants must register in advance. Contact Megan Snyder at (717) 720-7404 to receive registration instructions for the meeting at least 24 hours prior to the meeting date.

 Persons who have a disability and wish to participate in the Focus Group should contact Megan Snyder, Department of Community and Economic Development, Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, 4th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120-0225, (717) 720-7404 to discuss how the Department can accommodate their needs.
