Petition of Waiver for Tariff Regulations
[45 Pa.B. 3785]
[Saturday, July 11, 2015]P-2015-2486062. Executive Transportation Company t/d/b/a Luxury Sedan Service. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) invites comment on the petition of Executive Transportation Company t/d/b/a Luxury Sedan Service for waiver of the Commission's limousine tariff regulations in 52 Pa. Code §§ 23.11, 23.41 and 29.334 (relating to filing of rates; notice requirements for filing changes in rates; and tariff requirements).
Executive Transportation Company t/d/b/a Luxury Sedan Service was granted a certificate of public convenience at A-00109726 on April 14, 1992. Its certificate authorizes the transportation of persons in limousine service between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, and between points in Allegheny County.
If granted, the waiver would permit Executive Transportation Company t/d/b/a Luxury Sedan Service to use taxi meters in its vehicles, charging by distance, rather than time as required by the regulations. Additionally, the waiver would authorize it to use flexible pricing to enable changes in rates without advance notice and without filing an amended tariff with the Commission.
