Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, October 5, 2019]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by October 21, 2019. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2019-3012447. Bujar Vranici, t/a AWW Limousine (3860 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, Northampton County, PA 18017) persons in airport transfer service, from points in the Counties of Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Schuylkill and the City and County of Philadelphia, to the Lehigh Valley International Airport, the Philadelphia International Airport, the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre International Airport and the Harrisburg International Airport. Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a broker for transportation of persons as described under the application.
A-2019-3013000. American Logistics Company, LLC, t/a American Logistics Company (905 Calle Amanecer, Suite 360, San Clemente, CA 92673) for a brokerage license evidencing the Commission's approval of the right and privilege to operate as a broker, to arrange for the transportation of persons between points in Pennsylvania.
Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.
A-2019-3013052. Legacy Limousine, LLC (105 Hemlock Lane, Monroeville, PA 15146) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6416039, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Washington, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding that service which is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2019-3013031. Scott A. Reid (4 Fox Ridge, Pequea, PA 17565) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6418166, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
