Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, July 24, 2021]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before August 9, 2021. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by August 9, 2021. In accordance with the Commission's Emergency Order at M-2020-3019262, all parties participating in matters pending before the Commission are required to eFile their submissions by opening an eFiling account and accepting eService. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2021-3026781. Stephanie Walter (107 Manor Road, Apartment 1, Centre Hall, Centre County, PA 16828) for the right to begin to transport persons, by motor vehicle, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Centre, Clinton, Huntingdon, Mifflin and Union Counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2021-3026839. Specialty Driving, LLC (80 Weaver Avenue, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA 17522) in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2021-3027174. 809Lux, LLC (3016 Fanshawe Street, Philadelphia, PA 19149) in limousine service, from points in Delaware County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2021-3027243. Nikole Brown (2761 Halfmoon Valley Road, Port Matilda, Centre County, PA 16870) in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Centre County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.
A-2020-3027146. Peter Molnar, t/a Molnar Limousine Service (3437 Denny Street, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15201) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, at A-00117603, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, authorizing the transportation of persons in limousine service, from points in Allegheny County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2021-3027150. Stinelli Bros Moving & Storage, Inc. (11055 Parker Drive, Unit 2A, North Huntingdon, PA 15642) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-8919985, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.
