 John Sickeri and Dennis Nelen have appealed NPDES Permit No. PA0269891 issued by the Department of Environmental Protection to Bell Resources, Inc. in conjunction with the issuance of Surface Mining Permit No. 17180101 for expanded surface mining operations in Penn Township, Luzerne County.

 A hearing on the appeal has been scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on October 24, 2022. Unless otherwise noted, the hearing will be conducted by video by means of WebEx in accordance with the Environmental Hearing Board's (Board) protocols for conducting hearings during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which are available on its web site at http://ehb.courtapps.com. Changes to the hearing schedule may be found on the Board's web site.

 The appeal is filed with the Board. The notice of appeal, and other filings related to the appeal, may be reviewed by any interested person through the Board's web site at http://ehb.courtapps.com.
