Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, September 2, 2023]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before September 18, 2023. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by September 18, 2023. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the listed docket number as follows or by searching the applicant's web site.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2023-3041922. Christenson Driving Service, LLC (744 East Catherine Street, Chambersburg, Franklin County, PA 17201) persons in limousine service, from points in Franklin County, Cumberland County, Fulton County east of US Route 522 (including all of the Borough of McConnellsburg), Huntingdon County east of US Route 522 and south of PA Route 641 (including all of the Borough of Shade Gap) and Adams County west of US Route 15 (including all of the Borough of Gettysburg), to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding the areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2023-3042079. James F. Gaffney, t/a Excelsior Car Service (1523 North 9th Street, Reading, Berks County, PA 19604) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in airport transfer service, from points in Berks County to Harrisburg International Airport, Lehigh Valley International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport, and vice versa.
A-2023-3042132. Tut Entertainment, LLC (128 South Hall Street, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18101) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in the Township of Whitehall, Lehigh County, the Borough of Lehighton, Carbon County, the Cities of Allentown, Lehigh County, Bethlehem, Northampton and Lehigh Counties, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Hazleton, Luzerne County, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Reading, Berks County, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, York, York County and the City and County of Philadelphia, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2023-3042304. Lotus 412, LLC (280 Beverly Road, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15216) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2023-3042317. The Executive Limousine Co., LLC (112 Pegasus Court, Bear, DE 19701) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding Lehigh, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, and areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2023-3042383. J J Serafin, Inc., t/a AAAA Limo and AAAA Transport (14 Dennison Street, Forty Fort, Luzerne County, PA 18704) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Lackawanna and Luzerne.

A-2023-3042279. Greater Johnstown Yellow Cab, Inc. (1301 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, Cambria County, PA 15902) for the discontinuance and cancellation of the right to transport, persons upon call or demand service, between points in Pennsylvania, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraphs at dockets A-00098496, F.1, Am-A and Am-B.
A-2023-3042283. United Medical Transportation, LLC (6662 Terrace Way, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17111) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-2017-2619661, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2023-3042306. Here 2 There Taxi, LLC (202 Nesbit Street, Franklin, Venango County, PA 16323) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, persons in airport transfer service, from points in Venango County to Pittsburgh International Airport and Erie International Airport, and vice versa.
A-2023-3042307. Here 2 There Taxi LLC (202 Nesbit Street, Franklin, Venango County, PA 16323) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren and Westmoreland.
