Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before June 24, 2024. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by June 24, 2024. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the docket number as follows or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2024-3046271. IS Luxury Limo, LLC (406 Sylvan Avenue, Norwood, Delaware County, PA 19074) in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery.

A-2024-3048196. Time Away Transportation Services, LLC (102 Friendship Drive, Hawley, Wayne County, PA 18428) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call or demand service, between points in the Counties of Lackawanna, Pike and Wayne.

A-2024-3048973. Rapid Care Transportation, LLC (12 Hambletonian Drive, Colts Neck, Monmouth County, NJ 07722) to provide nonemergency transportation services by motor vehicle, to persons, from points in the Counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, and to clients of SAI Adult Day Care Center in Bucks and Philadelphia Counties, and return. A1 Reliable Transportation, LLC (30 Plains Gap Road, North Brunswick, Middlesex County, NJ 08902) to provide nonemergency transportation services by motor vehicle, to persons, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania and return. Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

(326 Chestnut Street, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, PA 17901) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, persons in paratransit service, from points in the County of Schuylkill, to points in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, and return, limited to vehicles having a seating capacity of 48 passengers or less excluding the driver, as originally Docketed at A-00102322F0004. A-2024-3049131. Barry L. Yunkin, Sr., t/a B Yunkin (744 County Line Road, Gap, Lancaster County, PA 17527) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2024-3049134. Williamsport, The City of (1500 West 3rd Street, Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA 17701) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in scheduled route service, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraphs at A-00095269F3.
