Draft Technical Guidance Documents (TGD): New Guidance

 DEP ID: 251-2100-755. Title: Guidance Manual for Permitting of New Commercial Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal Facilities. Description: This TGD will assist applicants in understanding the Department of Environmental Protection's (Department) process of permitting commercial hazardous waste treatment and disposal facilities and provides information on the separate phases and siting of new facilities.

 Written Comments: Interested persons may submit written comments on this draft TGD by February 18, 2024. Comments submitted by facsimile will not be accepted. Comments, including comments submitted by e-mail, must include the commentator's name and address. Commentators are urged to submit comments using the Department's online eComment for policies at www.ahs.dep.pa.gov/eComment. Written comments should be submitted to the Technical Guidance Coordinator, Department of Environmental Protection, Policy Office, Rachel Carson State Office Building, P.O. Box 2063, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2063 or by e-mail to ecomment@ pa.gov.
