Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

[Saturday, December 7, 2024]The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P.S. §§ 1381.1—1381.3), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following property is available for sale by the Department.
State Route Project 0083-043, Tax ID 35-058-074 and 35-058-170—Uneconomic Remnant, Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Zoned R-2 Medium Density Residential. These parcels contain a combined area of approximately 8,563 square feet of unimproved land situated at the corner of South Arlington Avenue and Locust Lane in Harrisburg, PA 17109.
This property will be sold in as-is condition. The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $3,000. It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.
