Title 49--PROFESSIONAL AND VOCATIONAL STANDARDS

DEPARTMENT OF STATE
BUREAU OF PROFESSIONAL AND
OCCUPATIONAL AFFAIRS
[49 PA. CODE CH. 43a]

Schedule of Civil Penalties; Guidelines for Imposition of Civil Penalties; Procedures for Appeal

[26 Pa.B. 2100]

On October 21, 1995, a schedule of civil penalties, guidelines for their imposition and procedures for appeal for persons operating without a current, registered, unsuspended and unrevoked license, was adopted as a policy statement in the Pennsylvania Bulletin at 25 Pa.B. 4527. Two civil penalties pertaining to the State Board of Cosmetology were inadvertently omitted on pages 4529 and 4530.

The Commissioner of the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs herein notifies the public that civil penalties under 63 P. S. § 519(a) and 49 Pa. Code § 7.64(a) were inadvertently omitted from the previous publication and that the schedule of fees, as reflected in Annex A, will include provisions for collecting civil penalties when a cosmetology owner employs unlicensed employes and a cosmetology manager employs unlicensed persons. These corrections will have no fiscal impact on the agency.
