Citizens Advisory Council to the Department of Environmental Protection; Change in Meeting Date and Location

   The Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) to the Department of Environmental Protection has changed its October 20 meeting, formerly scheduled to be held in Harrisburg, to October 6 and 7, 1997, at the Ramada Inn, Exit 10 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Somerset, PA. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on October 6 and continue through the afternoon on October 7.

   The purpose of the meeting is for the CAC to hear comments and testimony from citizens and groups from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fayette, Indiana, Somerset and Westmoreland counties on environmental issues facing the region and the work of the Department.

   Questions concerning the meeting or agenda items can be directed to Sue Wilson at (717) 787-4527.
