Revised Income Restrictions for Admission to a Pennsylvania State Veterans' Home

[27 Pa.B. 6525]

Effective immediately, the allowable income for a single domiciliary care applicant is $23,568 per year plus $1,380 per year per dependent, the maximum income paid to a 100% disabled veteran by the United States Department of Veterans' Affairs. An income below $23,568 will demonstrate the applicant may be incapable of self-support and demonstrate a financial need. An applicant whose income exceeds $23,568 may still qualify for admission if he can demonstrate exceptional circumstances creating a financial need for admission to the home.
