2005 Designations and Redesignations of Waters Subject to Special Fishing Regulations

   The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) has designated or redesignated the following streams, stream sections and lakes as waters subject to 58 Pa. Code Chapter 65 (relating to special fishing regulations) effective January 1, 2005:

58 Pa. Code § 65.1. Selective Harvest Program

   The Commission has removed the following stream sections from the list of waters regulated and managed under the Selective Harvest Program under 58 Pa. Code § 65.1:

Clinton Young Womans Creek From Beechwood Trail downstream to the Sproul State Forest Property line, a distance of 5.5 miles
Lycoming Grays Run From Grays Run Hunting Club property line downstream to concrete bridge on Grays Run Road (T-842) at old CCC Camp, a distance of 2.2 miles
Northampton Saucon Creek From the upstream boundary of the City of Bethlehem property downstream to the SR 0412 bridge, a distance of 2.1 miles
Potter Lyman Run Lyman Run Lake upstream to Splash Dam Hollow, a distance of 4.0 miles
York Codorus Creek From the confluence with West Branch of Codorus Creek downstream to cable 0.5 mile downstream of T-374 (Hayrick Road), a distance of 3.1 miles

58 Pa. Code § 65.4b. All-Tackle Selective Harvest Program

   The Commission has removed the following stream sections from the list of waters regulated and managed under the All-Tackle Selective Harvest Program under 58 Pa. Code § 65.4b:

Cameron Hunts Run From the confluence with McNuff Branch downstream to the mouth, a distance of 4.7 miles
Clinton Rauchtown Creek From the confluence of Rockey Run and Krape Run downstream to the SR 0880 crossing upstream of the Ravensburg State Park picnic area, a distance of 1.2 miles
Potter Sinnemahoning Creek,    East Fork
From the confluence with Wild Boy Run downstream to the confluence with Camp Run, a distance of 2.9 miles
Union Cherry Run From the mouth upstream for a distance of 2.7 miles
Westmoreland Camp Run From the headwaters downstream to the mouth, a distance of 4.1 miles

58 Pa. Code § 65.5. Catch-and-Release Areas.

   The Commission has designated the following stream sections as Catch-and-Release Areas regulated and managed under 58 Pa. Code § 65.5:

58 Pa. Code § 65.6. Delayed Harvest Artificial Lures Only (DHALO) Areas.

   The Commission has designated the following waters as DHALO Areas regulated and managed under 58 Pa. Code § 65.6:

Dauphin Powell Creek From the upper bridge crossing on T-551 downstream to the confluence of the unnamed tributary along T-358, a distance of 2.1 miles
Fayette Meadow Run From the mouth of Meadow Run at the Youghiogheny River upstream to the State Route 2011 Bridge on Dinner Bell Road adjacent to the Ohiopyle State Park office, a distance of 2.2 miles (Note: This is an extension of the 1.7 mile section of Meadow Run--from the confluence with Laurel Run downstream to the SR 0381 Bridge--that the Commission currently manages as a DHALO area)
Mifflin Honey Creek From the upper Bald Eagle State Forest boundary downstream for a distance of 1.75 miles
Monroe McMichaels Creek From 130 yards downstream of the bridge on Turkey Hill Road (T-416) downstream to the upstream boundary of the Glen Brook Golf Course, a distance of 1.74 miles

58 Pa. Code § 65.7. Trophy Trout Program.

   The Commission has added the following stream sections to the list of waters regulated and managed under the Trophy Trout Program under 58 Pa. Code § 65.7:

Northampton Saucon Creek From the upstream boundary of the City of Bethlehem property downstream to the SR 0412 bridge, a distance of 2.1 miles
York Codorus Creek From the confluence with the West Branch of Codorus Creek downstream to a point that is 0.4 mile downstream from SR 3082 (Porters Road), a distance of 2.0 miles

58 Pa. Code § 65.8. Warmwater/Coolwater Species Special Conservation Waters.

   The Commission has removed the following lakes from the list of waters regulated and managed as Warmwater/Coolwater Species Special Conservation Waters under 58 Pa. Code § 65.8:

58 Pa. Code § 65.9. Big Bass Special Regulations.

   The Commission has designated the following lakes regulated and managed under the Big Bass Special Regulations under 58 Pa. Code § 65.9:

58 Pa. Code § 65.10. Early Season Trout Stocked Waters Program (formerly, the Select Trout Stocked Lake Program.

   The Commission has added the following waters to the list of waters regulated and managed under the Early Season Trout Stocked Waters Program under 58 Pa. Code § 65.10:

58 Pa. Code § 65.11. Panfish Enhancement Special Regulation.

   The Commission has added the following lakes to the list of waters regulated and managed under the Panfish Enhancement Special Regulation under 58 Pa. Code § 65.11:

58 Pa. Code § 65.13. Wild Brook Trout Enhancement Regulations.

   The Commission has added the following waters to the list of waters regulated and managed under the wild Brook Trout Enhancement Regulations under 58 Pa. Code § 65.13:

Carbon Jeans Run From border of State Game Lands No. 141 upstream on Jeans Run to its headwaters, a distance of 2.5 miles, and all tributaries entering this portion of Jeans Run

Minister Creek Watershed Entire watershed, which includes 5.0 miles of Minister Creek and its tributaries
Monroe Kistler Run Watershed Entire watershed, which includes 3.1 miles of Kistler Run and its tributaries

Entire watershed, which includes 2.1 miles of Wolf Swamp Run and its tributaries
Perry Shaeffer Run Tuscarora State Forest upstream on Shaeffer Run to its headwaters, a distance of 6.7 miles, and all tributaries entering this portion of Shaeffer Run
Potter Birch Run Watershed Entire watershed, which includes 5.3 miles of Birch Run and its tributaries
Potter Lyman Run Lyman Lake upstream on Lyman Run to its headwaters, a distance of 5.3 miles, and all tributaries entering this portion of Lyman Run
Westmoreland Camp Run Watershed Entire watershed, which includes 4.1 miles of Camp Run and its intermittent flow tributaries
