DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Availability of 2004--2005 Career and Technical Education Equipment Grants

   Applications are invited for Fiscal Year 2004--2005 Career and Technical Education Equipment Grants funding. The project period is from March 25, 2005, to June 30, 2005. The maximum amount per Statewide Demonstration Project is $50,000. Available funds total $900,000.

1.  Eligibility Requirements

   Funding is available on a competitive basis to career and technical education centers and area school districts with eight or more approved career and technical programs, two of which must be trade and industrial.

2.  Applications Deadline

   Applications are due March 25, 2005, by 5 p.m.

3.  How to Apply

   The Department of Education (Department) has implemented an Internet-based E-Grant system that requires eligible applicants to apply for funding on-line. The grant guidelines will be available on the Department's website: www.pde.state.pa.us. Click on Pre K-12 Schools, then on the left hand side click on Career/Technical Education, Grants and Funding, Funding Sources. This page provides a listing of the various funding guidelines. Click on Equipment Grants.
