AMD 18(0817)102.1, Acid Mine Drainage Project, Fran Contracting Camp Run No. 3, East Keating Township, Clinton County. The principal items of work and approximate quantities include permanent access road with parking lot/turn around 1,368 square yards; subsurface drain 550 linear feet; excavation and rebackfilling 165,000 cubic yards; alkaline addition 13,000 tons; existing alkaline addition 1,740 cubic yards; seeding 27.1 acres; and tree planting 15,505 trees. This bid issues on April 20, 2012, and bids will be opened on May 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
