Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by October 7, 2014. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2014-2404945. (Revised) Manito Transportation Services, Inc. (7564 Browns Mill Road, Chambersburg, Franklin County, PA 17202-9252) persons in paratransit, from points in the Counties of Berks, Cumberland, Franklin, Montgomery and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2014-2426783. Hartman Hauling & Logging, LLC (646 Preserve Road, Danville, Montour County, PA 17821) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Columbia, Lycoming, Montour and Northumberland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2014-2429869. Special Event EMS, Inc., t/a Mid-State Mobile Health Partners (12 Long Lane, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050) for temporary authority, to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Cumberland and Lycoming, and within the airline distance of 50 statute miles of said counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; So as to permit transportation of persons in paratransit/wheelchair van service, ill or injured to and from health care facilities and physician's offices. A-2014-2431891. Good Shepherd Transportation, Inc. (137 Circle Drive, Catasauqua, PA 18032) for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in Lehigh County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2014-2434078. Classy Cab Company, Inc. (Shera-ton Hotel/Northwest, 910 Sheraton Drive, Mars, Butler County, PA 16046) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. McElhinney (4284 Highway 173, Cochranton, Crawford County, PA 16314) persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Crawford, Erie and Mercer Counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2014-2434083. Sharitz Bus Service, Inc. (P. O. Box 396, Shamokin Dam, Snyder County, PA 17876) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Snyder County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2014-2434626. Plum Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (4545 New Texas Road, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15239) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Plum Borough, Allegheny County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2014-2436235. Haines Transportation Services, Inc., t/a Michael's Classic Limousine (P. O. Box 206, Leesport, Berks County, PA 19533) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in airport transfer service, from points in Berks County, to the Philadelphia International Airport.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public con- venience as described under each application.

A-2014-2430720. Baker's Transportation Service, Inc. (1400 West 1st Street, Oil City, Venango County, PA 16301) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, as a common carrier, persons upon call or demand, in the Townships of Cranberry, Cornplanter, Sandycreek, and in the Borough of Sugarcreek, all in Venango County, as more thoroughly described in the issuing paragraphs at A-00100359, F. 2-AMD and A-00100359, F. 2-AME.

A-2014-2432832. Irma J. Fryer (151 Old Stagecoach Road, Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA 17044) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of the certificate as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Mifflin, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
