Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed in the event that there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by December 10, 2018. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2018-3004747. Comforting Ride Transportation Services, LLC (380 Red Lion Road, Suite 201, Huntington Valley, Montgomery County, PA 19006) in paratransit service between points in the City and County of Philadelphia and Delaware County, and from points in said city and counties to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Attorney: Michael S. Henry, Esquire, Salaman/Henry, PC, 100 South Broad Street, Suite 650, Philadelphia, PA 19110.

A-2018-3005719. Hearts on Wheels Senior Transportation Service Co. (271 D. Murray Drive, King of Prussia, Montgomery County, PA 19406) in paratransit service, limited to adults over 55 years of age with functional limitations in mobility, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as contract carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2018-3005503. Honeybee Transportation, LLC (3401 Market Street, Suite 200, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19104) for the right to begin to transport, as a contract carrier for Trolley Express Philly, Inc., d/b/a ShuttleBee, between points in Pennsylvania; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
