Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by July 8, 2019. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2019-3010120. A-One Do Process, LLC (1410 2nd Avenue, Altoona, Blair County, PA 16602) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, persons in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Huntingdon and Somerset.

A-2019-3010367. CCC&P Transportation Company, LLC (23 South 4th Street, Youngwood, Westmoreland County, PA 15697) persons in call or demand service, in the Counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland.

A-2019-3010385. Best Ride Services, Inc. (8118 Old York Road, Suite F, Elkins Park, Montgomery County, PA 19027) persons in paratransit service, limited to persons who have obtained financial waivers issued by the Department of Human Services under its Community HealthChoices Program, or a successor program, between points in the Counties of Bucks and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia. A-2019-3010462. Sip And Play Tours, LLC, t/a S & P Transportation (725 Pearl Street, Easton, Northampton County, PA 18042) persons, in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Northampton and Monroe, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2019-3010329. C-Pride Taxi Company, LLC, t/a C-Pride Taxi Co. (501 West 22nd Street, Chester, Delaware County, PA 19013) persons in call or demand service, in the City of Chester, Delaware County, and within a 5-mile radius of said city.

A-2019-3010337. George Woolley, t/a Woolley Transport (128 Field Lane, Milroy, Mifflin County, PA 17063) persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Mifflin County, to points in the Counties of Mifflin, Centre, Huntington, Snyder and Juniata, and return.
