Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by August 3, 2020. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2020-3020522. Penn Hope Transport, Inc. (209 South 52nd Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19139) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, persons in paratransit service in wheelchair and stretcher vans, between points in the City and County of Philadelphia.

A-2020-3020597. Wynn Transit, LLC (4402 Aldine Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19136-4001) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, senior citizens in paratransit service, from points in the County of Delaware and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2020-3020531. Arista Limousine, Inc. (212 Independence Drive, Holland, Bucks County, PA 18966) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00118451, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2020-3020655. Curry Limousine, LLC (146 Birch Drive, Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA 17044) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Blair, Centre, Dauphin, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin, Perry and Snyder, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2020-3020656. Curry Limousine, LLC (146 Birch Drive, Lewistown, Mifflin County, PA 17044) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Blair, Center, Huntingdon, Juniata, Mifflin and Snyder, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2020-3020665. RM Home Services, d/b/a Community Home Services (672 Main Street, Harleysville, Montgomery County, PA 19438) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a contract carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6417293, persons in residential retirement communities owned by nonprofit entities affiliated with Grace Inspired Ministries and the Mennonite and other Anabaptist faiths in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraphs at A-2015-2465709 and A-2017-2621661.

A-2020-3020702. John M. Butler, II (1320 Charters Avenue, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15220) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in limousine service, between points in Allegheny County.
