Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by October 5, 2020. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2020-3021688. Bucks Medical Transportation, Inc. (3798 Svetland Drive, Doylestown, Bucks County, PA 18901) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicles, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Attorney: David J. Averett, Esquire, 7719 Castor Avenue, Second Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19152.

A-2020-3021704. Metro Ride, LLC (240 Chatham Park Drive # 2B, Pittsburgh, PA 15220) persons in paratransit service, by motor vehicle, in wheelchair and stretcher vans, from points in the Counties of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Erie, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lehigh, McKean, Mercer, Perry, Schuylkill, Somerset and Venango, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.

A-2020-3021763. Robert Banning, t/a Banning Moving (2224 Apple Way, Bensalem, Bucks County, PA 19020) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2020-3021592. Afton Limousine Service, LLC (2850 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia, including transportation to and from the Philadelphia Airport, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, as docketed at A-2016-2577638.

A-2020-3021598. Afton Limousine Service, LLC (2850 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in limousine service, from the Counties of Bucks and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2020-3021602. Guardian Transport Services, LLC (8796 Route 219, Brockway, Jefferson County, PA 15824) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Blair, Cambria, Clarion, Clearfield, Erie, Indiana and Jefferson, and to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2020-3021611. Cynthia Paulino, t/a Ludelea Transportation (220 West Oak Street, Hazelton, Luzerne County, PA 18201) for the discontinuance and cancellation of her authority, to transport, as common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points within a 10-air mile radius of the City of Hazleton, Luzerne County, to points in Pennsylvania and return.

A-2020-3021675. James Keefer (569 Daisy Drive, New Holland, Lancaster County, PA 17557) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00123991, persons in paratransit service, limited to people whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2020-3021743. Ken Martin's Transportation, LLC (231 Spring Garden Road, Kinzers, Lancaster County, PA 17535) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, between points in the County of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2020-3021753. John L. Yoder (519 Oliver Court, Belleville, Mifflin County, PA 17004) for the discontinuance and cancellation of his authority, begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Mifflin, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
