Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by November 30, 2020. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2020-3022305. 99 Adult Daycare II, Inc. (1533-39 North 7th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to senior members from their homes to the senior center, within the City and County of Philadelphia, and return.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2020-3022567. Best Limousine Company, Inc., t/a Dave's Limousine Service (3070 Bristol Pike, Building 1, Suite 100-B, Bensalem, Bucks County, PA 19020) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania. A-2020-3022568. Susan R. Wingert (563 Cambridge Road, Narvon, Lancaster County, PA 17555) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to trans- port, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00122391, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2020-3022569. J & J Livery Corporation (310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, Bucks County, PA 18966) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania. A-2020-3022579. McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co. # 1, Inc. (112 East Maple Street, McConnellsburg, Fulton County, PA 17233) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, persons in paratransit, from points in Fulton County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as described at Docket No. A-2016-2576097.

A-2020-3022579. Howell L. Crocket, Jr., t/a JR Crockett (5421 Old Philadelphia Pike, P.O. Box 191, Intercourse, Lancaster County, PA 17534) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as described at Docket No. A-2011-2265607.

A-2020-3022692. Henderson Limousine, Inc. (2050 State Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17103) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, as described at Docket No. A-2011-2246004.
