Notice of Opportunity for Hearing and
Invitation to Protest

 Under 24 Pa.C.S. § 6503(e) (relating to certification of institutions), the Department of Education (Department) will consider the application for approval for American College of Education to open a location in York, PA. American College of Education has applied to open a location in York, PA for the purpose of offering the Master of Education in Educational Leadership.

 In accordance with 24 Pa.C.S. § 6503(e), the Department will act upon the application without a hearing, unless within 30 days after the publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin a written request for public hearing is filed with the Department, along with a notice of intervention, a petition to intervene or protest in accordance with 1 Pa. Code §§ 35.23 and 35.24 (relating to protests) or 1 Pa. Code §§ 35.27—35.32 (relating to intervention).

 Petitions to intervene, protest and request for hearing shall be filed with the Division of Higher Education, Access and Equity, 333 Market Street, 12th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17126-0333 on or before the due date prescribed by this notice. Person wishing to review the application should phone (717) 783-6786 or write to the previously listed address to schedule a time for a review.

 Persons with a disability who wish to attend the hearing, if held, and requires an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodations to participate, should contact the Division of Higher Education, Access and Equity at (717) 783-6786 to discuss accommodations.
