Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before April 25, 2022. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by April 25, 2022. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2022-3031127. Rejuvenate Concierge, Co. (262 South Easton Road, P.O. Box 333, Glenside, Montgomery County, PA 19038) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Montgomery County to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3031144. Black Creek Hauling, LLC (1275 State Route 209, Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA 17061) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points bounded by the Susquehanna River, State Route 209 and Interstate 81, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Attorney: Jack Kerwin, Esquire, 4245 State Route 209, Elizabethville, PA 17023.

A-2022-3031436. Med Ryde, LLC (100 North 18th Avenue, Unit 300, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19103) to transport, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3031566. Gift of Helps, LLC (2123 North 23rd Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19121) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, members of Gift of Helps, LLC's homecare agency in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3031570. Edna's Care, LLC (6107 North 8th Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19120) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, members of Edna's Care, LLC homecare agency in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.

A-2022-3031117. Schmitt's Trucking, LLC, d/b/a American Moving and Transport (1323 Pinyon Street, Trevose, Bucks County, PA 19053) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

Application of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under the application.

A-2022-3031645. Susquehanna Valley Emergency Medical Service (126 Keller Avenue, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA 17601) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as more thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraph at A-2010-2191504.
