Pennsylvania $50,000 Count Up Instant Lottery Game 1572

 Under the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:

 1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania $50,000 Count Up (hereafter ''$50,000 Count Up''). The game number is PA-1572.

 2. Price: The price of a $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game ticket is $3.

 3. Play symbols: Each $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area. The play symbols and their captions, located in the play area, are: Bow Tie (TIE) symbol, Diamond (DIAMND) symbol, Gold Bar (GOLD) symbol, Keys (KEYS) symbol, Coat (COAT) symbol, Purse (PURSE) symbol, Star (STAR) symbol, Wishbone (WISHBN) symbol, Check (CHECK) symbol, Necklace (NECKLCE) symbol, Bank (BANK) symbol, Safe (SAFE) symbol, Moon (MOON) symbol, Silver Bar (SILVER) symbol, Briefcase (CASE) symbol, Gem (GEM) symbol, Clock (CLOCK) symbol, Computer (COMPUTR) symbol, Crown (CROWN) symbol, Lock (LOCK) symbol, Piggy Bank (PIGGYBK) symbol, Ring (RING) symbol, Wallet (WALLET) symbol, Treasure Chest (CHEST) symbol, Trophy (TROPHY) symbol, Stack of Coins (COINS) symbol and a Stack of Cash (CASH) symbol.

 4. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game, are: $3, $5, $10, $15, $30, $50, $100, $300, $1,000, $3,000 and $50,000. A player can win up to one time on a ticket.

 5. Approximate number of tickets printed for the game: Approximately 8,400,000 tickets will be printed for the $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game.

 6. Determination of prize winners:

 (a) Holders of tickets with 12 Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.

 (b) Holders of tickets with 11 Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3,000.

 (c) Holders of tickets with ten Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.

 (d) Holders of tickets with nine Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $300.

 (e) Holders of tickets with eight Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (f) Holders of tickets with seven Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.

 (g) Holders of tickets with six Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.

 (h) Holders of tickets with five Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.

 (i) Holders of tickets with four Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.

 (j) Holders of tickets with three Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.

 (k) Holders of tickets with two Stack of Cash (CASH) symbols in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.

 7. Number and description of prizes and approximate odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes and approximate odds of winning:

 Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.

 8. Retailer incentive awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Program for retailers who sell $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game tickets.

 9. Retailer bonus: The Lottery may offer a retailer bonus in connection with the sale of Pennsylvania instant lottery game tickets. If a retailer bonus is offered, a Lottery retailer shall be eligible for a bonus as described in this section. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $100,000 and not exceeding $500,000 shall be paid a bonus of $500. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $500,001 and not exceeding $1,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $5,000. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $1,000,001 and not exceeding $10,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $10,000. A Lottery retailer is entitled only to the largest bonus for which they qualify on a winning ticket. A bonus will be initiated for payment after the instant ticket is claimed and validated. A bonus will not be awarded to a Lottery retailer that sells a non-winning Pennsylvania Lottery instant ticket used to enter a Pennsylvania Lottery second-chance drawing or promotion that is subsequently selected to win a prize.

 10. Unclaimed prize money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of $50,000 Count Up, prize money from winning $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the $50,000 Count Up instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.

 11. Governing law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. CodePart V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.

 12. Termination of the game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote $50,000 Count Up or through normal communications methods.
