Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before May 1, 2023. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by May 1, 2023. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2023-3039279. Central PA Medical Transport, LLC (151 Manor Church Road, Columbia, Lancaster County, PA 17512) persons in paratransit service, limited to transportation in wheelchair and stretcher vans, from points in the Counties of Dauphin, Lancaster and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3039347. Better Care Transportation, LLC (6259 Mifflin Avenue, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17111) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3039477. Pennsy Line Service, LLC (180 Glencoe Road, Upper Darby, Delaware County, PA 19082) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the County of Delaware and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2023-3039535. Allegheny Coach Transportation, Inc. (4698 State Route 136, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, PA 15601) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2023-3039544. Bernard Annarino (118 1/2 Clark Street, Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, PA 15767) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-2018-3002357, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Indiana and Jefferson, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
