Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before September 11, 2023. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by September 11, 2023. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the listed docket number as follows or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2023-3041801. Hijos Del Rey, LLC (141 South Wyoming Street, Apartment 1, Hazleton, Luzerne County, PA 18201) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Hazleton Area School District to Hazleton Area School District Schools, and return.

A-2023-3042041. Classic Car Service, LLC (275 Glen Riddle Road, Apartment H21, Media, Delaware County, PA 19063-5886) persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating between 11 and 15 persons, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2023-3042074. Andy J. Mast (928 Swartz Road, Lewisburg, Union County, PA 17837) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, between points in Union County, and from points in Union County, to points in the Counties of Dauphin, Lackawanna and Lancaster, and return.

A-2023-3042143. Ace Transit Management, LLC (580 Buckstone Drive, Southampton, Bucks County, PA 18966) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3042158. Feroz, LLC (265 Rivercrest Drive, Phoenixville, Montgomery County, PA 19460) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in Montgomery County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2023-3042170. Helping Hands Transportation, LLC (2839 West Girard Avenue, Floor 1, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19130) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2023-3042151. Gegen, LLC (175 Greenwich Street, Floor 47, New York, NY 10007) for the discontinuance and cancellation of the right to operate as a broker, to arrange for the transportation of persons, between points in Pennsylvania, as originally docketed at Docket A-2012-2317300.

A-2023-3042152. Gegen, LLC (175 Greenwich Street, Floor 47, New York, NY 10007) for the discontinuance and cancellation of the right to transport persons, in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania, as originally docketed at Docket A-2012-2339043.
