§ 21.70. Strength tests.

 The following species are commonly associated with others of the same genus under the American Lumber Standards nomenclature but no strength tests have been made on them at Forest Products Laboratory:

HickoryOvalisi.
Red oakQuercus borealis maxima, shumardii, texana, palustris, rubra pagodaefolia, ellipsoidalis, coccinea, marilandica, kelloggii, and catesbaei.
White oakLyrata, muehlenbergii, garryana, lobata, virginana, douglasii, utahensis, emozyi, arizonica, and oblongifolia.
PecanCordi formis elongata, myristicaeformis, and aquatica.
Red alderRhombifolia.
HackberryLaevigata.
BasswoodHeterophylla.
