§ 183.7. Uniform procedures for the commissions relating to the manner and time frame for updating information in the SURE system.
(a) The following information shall be processed within 14 days of receipt by the commission:
(1) Initial PENNDOT applications.
(2) VRMAs.
(3) PENNDOT changes of address from the Department.
(4) PENNDOT changes of address transferred from other counties.
(5) Correspondence from registrants according to voter removal programs in accordance with section 1901 of the act (relating to removal of electors).
(6) Transfers in accordance with section 1502 of the act (relating to transfer of registration).
(7) The Deceased Voters List received from the Department of Health in accordance with section 1505 of the act (relating to death of registrant).
(8) Other updates to a registrants record.
(b) After 10 days, if an envelope containing a voter identification card is returned as undeliverable, the commission shall investigate, in accordance with section 1328(c)(5) of the act (relating to approval of registration applications). When processing in-person voter registration applications, the commission may not provide a voter identification card on the day of application. The commission shall mail the voter identification card to the applicants address to verify that mail can be received by the applicant at the address on the application form, as required by section 1328(c) of the act.
