§ 6.531. Purpose.

 The purpose of the Pennsylvania Military Community Protection Commission (Commission) shall be to assist the Governor by providing recommendations and input to enhance the military value of installations, organizations and defense related regions within this Commonwealth by providing and implementing the requisite recommendations, policies, plans and processes to achieve that goal. The Commission shall also assist in providing an understanding within the United States Department of Defense that this Commonwealth is a great place for the military and the defense related personnel and their families to live, work and recreate.
