§ 7.301. Policy.
It is the policy of the Commonwealth to protect through the administration of all agency programs and regulations, the Commonwealth’s ‘‘prime agricultural land’’ from irreversible conversion to uses that result in its loss as an environmental and essential food and fiber resource.
Notes of Decisions Proposed construction of waste treatment facility on property being put to agricultural use did not contemplate disposal of solid or liquid waste and prior approval of Agricultural Lands Condemnation Approval Board was not, therefore, necessary. In re New Garden Township, 579 A.2d 459 (Pa. Cmwlth. 1990).
