§ 11.13. Compulsory school age.
Except as otherwise provided by law, compulsory school age refers to the period of a childs life from the time the child enters school (which may be no later than at the age of 6 years), until the age of 18 or graduation from a high school, whichever occurs first.

Notes of Decisions When a child was denied admittance to kindergarten on the basis of age after transferring to a different school district, he was not denied equal protection since compulsory attendance for beginners did not pertain to kindergarten students. OLeary v. Wisecup, 364 A.2d 770 (Pa. Cmwlth. 1976).
