§ 911.5. Interpretation of Hispanic/Latino origin or descent and patient race.

 (a)  Field 35a: Hispanic/Latino origin or descent. This should be reflected as follows:

   Hispanic/Latino origin

   1 = Yes

   2 = No

 (b)  Field 35b: Patient race.

   W = White

   B = Black

   A = Asian or Pacific Islander

   I = Native American or Eskimo

   N = Other

   U = Unknown
