GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 27.1. Definitions.

 The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

   Foot-candle—The lighting effect produced upon an object by a standard candle at a distance of 1 foot.

   Minimize—To reduce to the smallest practical proportion.

   Nonflammable material—Material which will not readily burn or ignite.
