§ 1181.272. Costs related to revenue producing items.

 In determining the operating costs of a facility, the Department will not allow costs related to:

   (1)  The sale of laundry and linen service.

   (2)  The sale of drugs to nonpatients.

   (3)  The sale of medical and surgical supplies to nonpatients.

   (4)  The sale of medical records and abstracts.

   (5)  The rental of quarters to employes and others.

   (6)  The rental of space.

   (7)  Payments received from specialists.

   (8)  Trade, quantity, time and other discounts on purchases.

   (9)  Rebates and refunds of expenses.
