§ 2050.17. Confidentiality.
(a) Counties and their designated providers shall safeguard the use and disclosure of information on applicants and clients.
(b) Providers shall permit access to, and allow the use and disclosure of information on applicants and clients to: Federal authorities, the Commonwealth, the Department, the county commissioners or county executive, or their authorized agents if the information is necessary to carry out their required functions. Disclosure beyond this scope requires the clients informed and written consent.
(c) Providers shall make available to a client or an authorized representative the contents of the clients case records under Chapter 105 (relating to safeguarding information).
